Terms of Service
The plain-language rules that govern your use of comfortplus.com and the HVAC services we provide across Southern California.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Comfort Plus website (the "Site") and the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning services we provide (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Site or scheduling Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or schedule work.
1. About Comfort Plus
Comfort Plus is a licensed heating and air-conditioning contractor based in Riverside, California (CSLB #1045271). We serve residential and light-commercial properties across San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and Los Angeles counties. You can reach us at (714) 451-9240 or comfortplushvacr@gmail.com.
2. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, personal purposes related to requesting information about or scheduling our Services. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its underlying systems;
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Site;
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site, including the contact form.
3. Estimates and Quotes
Estimates for installation work and indoor air-quality projects are provided free of charge after an in-home assessment. Repair calls carry a diagnostic fee, which is waived if you authorize the recommended repair during the same visit. All written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued and are subject to change if site conditions differ materially from what was assessed.
4. Scheduling and Cancellation
We do our best to honor every appointment window. If we are running late or need to reschedule, we will call you directly. You may cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment at no cost up to 24 hours before the scheduled window. Same-day cancellations or no-shows for scheduled, on-site work may be subject to a trip charge.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless other terms are documented in writing in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Financing is available for qualifying installations through third-party lenders; the lender's terms govern those agreements, not these Terms.
6. Workmanship Warranty
Every system we install is backed by a written one-year Comfort Plus labor warranty covering defects in our installation workmanship. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only when the system has been maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and our published care guidelines. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, power surges, flooding, vermin, or acts of nature is not covered.
7. Manufacturer Warranties
Equipment we install is covered by the manufacturer's parts warranty, which is separate from our labor warranty. Coverage, duration, and registration requirements vary by manufacturer. We will provide the relevant documentation at completion of the installation and, where required, register the equipment on your behalf.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comfort Plus and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or our Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. The contact form on this Site is processed using Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-bot challenge) and Resend (email delivery); their respective terms and privacy policies apply to data processed by those services.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or scheduling new Services after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
